Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates are free at both shops, the mechanical shop at 408 Carnegie Ave, Newark and the body shop at 1420 E Elizabeth Ave, Linden. Call (607) 251-1509 or send the form with the vehicle and what it’s doing.
Which shop do I go to?
Engine, transmission, brakes, maintenance and anything mechanical: Newark, 408 Carnegie Ave. Collision damage, dents, paint and glass: Linden, 1420 E Elizabeth Ave. Not sure? Call and we point you to the right one.
What areas do you serve?
Newark, Linden, Elizabeth, Hillside, Irvington, Union and the towns around them. Most customers drive to us; the Newark shop is near Newark Airport and the Linden shop is off E Elizabeth Ave.
Do you work with insurance companies?
Yes. For body work we handle the claim with your insurer and work with GEICO, State Farm, Progressive, Allstate, Liberty Mutual and USAA. Bring the vehicle and the claim number and we take it from there.
What makes and models do you work on?
All makes and models, domestic, European and Asian, including commercial vans and fleet vehicles. Our technicians are ASE and I-CAR certified with factory training.
How long will my repair take?
You get a date with the estimate. Oil changes and brake work are often done the same day. Collision repairs depend on parts and on the insurer approving the work, and we tell you which of those we’re waiting on.
Do you use OEM or aftermarket parts?
Both, depending on the vehicle, your budget and what the insurer requires. You’re told which parts are going in before the work starts.
